In April of 2008 Tucker became a Certified Professional Yacht Broker. This is a program developed to increase professionalism in the yacht brokerage business. To become certified, a broker must have extensive experience, pass a peer review, and take a thorough test on all aspects of yacht sales. In Broward County, Florida, there are over 1100 licensed yacht brokers and salespeople, but only 25 are Certified Professional Yacht Brokers.

If you want to sell a yacht, you know that the more buyers that can see a yacht for sale, the sooner it will sell. Our Shipyard Showroom is located on Marina Mile in Fort Lauderdale, and is convenient for buyers who come to Fort Lauderdale, to see the yachts for sale in South Florida. Many times, buyers will come to the Showroom to see one type of yacht, and ask to see another one while they are there. Since we actively encourage other brokers to sell our listings on a co-brokerage basis, yacht brokers know it is easy to bring clients for showings.
FREE DOCKAGE FOR SELLERS
With a central listing of a yacht with a value over $250,000 we offer free undercover dockage in our Shipyard Showroom. There is a charge for electricity and services, but the undercover dockage is free, and we can accommodate yachts undercover up to 150 feet.

Docking, electronics, anchoring, what to do in the engine room and more. Not just 30 minutes at the dock, but enough time for the new owner to increase his comfort level. For some buyers it is three hours, for some it may be three days.
